Our repair technician arrived 45 minutes earlier than promised, was very friendly, and did a superb installation of our new garage door opener. He also adjusted the door springs and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. We could not be more pleased with the service.

I found this company on the internet and called for gate opening service. They came out promptly and provided a proposal. I even received an email from someone named Ray Smith who said he was the owner and let him know if we had any issues. I called after receiving the proposal to clarify some details and asked to speak to Drey who sent the proposal. No call back from Drey. Called the next day and left a message. Again, no return call. I then called the number from Ray Smith’s email. I got the receptionist who would not put me through to Smith. I left a third message for the tech. AGAIN, no return call. The total on the proposal was over 4,000.00. Guess they don’t need the business. Ray, don’t send emails to prospective clients if you have no intention of speaking with them.

This weekend, we heard a terrible sound from our garage and after investigation found that one of our springs had ruptured and our garage door would no longer function. I got online with Precision to schedule a no cost visit to access the problem and determine next steps. The service technician, Nick, called that morning to see about coming sooner than the originally scheduled time slot and he arrived promptly and was very courteous and thorough in his evaluation and he performed the spring repair promptly. My only complaint with Precision is that the cost of the repair was extremely high; with estimates being around $150-$250/spring and then getting the only option available for the Precision springs being their brand of spring at a cost of $415/each, I was shocked! The expense went from being one that was estimated to be around $600 all-in to one that was over $1000. This is too much and will cause one to rethink working with Precision again or even thinking about doing the repair on one’s own – taking this risk of injury or quality of work that would come with it. $1000 is just too much to bear in these times. It’s my hope Precision can do something after the fact to reduce this cost and to consider more affordable spring repair options for customers in the future. In the end, great service, timely response, great technician, great quality of work… just way too expensive and it’s my hope Precision can find more affordable options for customers as going back to them again for any repeat business will be very hard for me after getting a charge like this for a spring repair which should have been $600-$700 max.

Marco Avila installed my new garage door control and keyless pad. He is a polite man and took pride in his work and making sure everything was installed correctly. He made sure I understood all the new features. My garage control that was replaced was 23 yrs old.

Renter reported a problem with the garage door on a Saturday morning. I saw it was a broken spring. I was able to easily make an appointment for SAME DAY SERVICE on a SATURDAY. Kevin was at the house within 2 hours and quickly replaced the springs, bearings, and did a tune up. I look forward to no more calls about the garage door for years to come!!
