Jon did an amazing job installing our new garage door. He arrived promptly at 8am and since time is money, this was much appreciated. He was working solo, but that didn’t stop him from providing top quality service and precision.

Only giving 1 star because no option for 0 star. Ordeal w/ Precision Door (PD) started on 7/5/22. Technician was several hours late but he did call and came anyway. Decision made: Order new door and a garage door opener. Check for 1/2 of quoted price given to Tech as deposit. Note: on 7/5 received msg from owner Ray Smith thanking me for my business. Last line of this msg and I quote: “If for any reason you are not totally satisfied, I would consider it a favor if your called and gave me the opportunity to redress the situation.” I did call 5 times – Never received a response. 7/19/22 – started making numerous calls to check status of order since not getting any communications for PD. Delay after delay. You have to call into a call center who cannot check status of orders so as a result msgs have to be left with no responses most times so I kept calling day after day to check status. 9/20/22 – Last verbal communication made with PD was with GM from Houston office. He is sorry I am upset however he informed my that my constant calling would not expedite my order and my condescending attitude toward PD employees would not speed up process either. Apparently I am not allowed to be frustrated or share my concerns (sometimes heatedly) regarding PD’s apparent lack of communication and customer service. As of this writing/review, PD is still waiting for update, truck lands Thursday (9/22) w/door and they are praying that they give them an update then. Well, I pray people read this and don’t go through what I am going through. I will not bother to call again to check status and can only hope that my order is received and installed soon but have no idea when that might be. After completion – I will have nothing to do with this company every again. Any updates/maintenance I will find another company. Precision Door, in my opinion, only cares about their bottom line. My recommendation to anyone that reads this and is considering calling Precision Door – reconsider – they are not the name to trust!!!!

I did not do my homework prior to Precision Door coming out and not only did I over pay but my new opener stopped working 3 days after it was installed. The original technician was polite however left the wires just hanging and twisted together. I called to see if that was how they normally leave things and was told no so they sent the technician back out. He showed up and didn’t have enough wire screws so he borrowed my electrician tape to finish. When the door didn’t work on Saturday I called and they wanted to send someone out on Monday. Really? I just paid over $2000.00 and you want me to wait 2 days. I told them this was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had and I wanted to talk to a manager to arrange to have them come take out all of their equipment. I was told a manager would call me Monday. It is now Wednesday and no call. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Do your homework.

Precision Door exceeded expectations from start to finish. A technician arrived within a couple of hours of my phone call – he was professional, trustworthy, and did a fantastic job. I wholeheartedly recommend Precision and will most certainly use them in the future for any of my garage door needs.

Marco was my service tech and I could not of had better service! He listened to my concerns and gave me options. He even fixed my door where I could lift it my myself and it would stay up!! I am definitely happy with the service that was provided yesterday! Thank you!
